Start with uppercase A and lowercase a
The initial activity practices A and a. Compare the slanting lines and crossbar of uppercase A with the round shape of lowercase a; apple is the example word. Choose a tracing or writing level, and use the letter selector to practice another letter from A–Z when needed.
